Fees
Calm in Chaos Therapy, PLLC operates on a self-pay basis and currently does not accept insurance. Super-bills can be provided for potential out-of-network (OON) reimbursement. Sessions are available in-person (limited availability), virtually, or through a hybrid format. Session fees are processed via Simple Practice, and a valid debit or credit card is necessary when booking a session. Your commitment to self-care is valued, and we strive to make the process seamless for you.
Choose from three session lengths (50, 75, or 90 minutes) for individual and relational therapy. For relational therapy, the 75 or 90-minute sessions are recommended, given the complexity of couples and relational work. Clients engaging in relational therapy can anticipate at least one 90-minute session dedicated to individual sexual/attachment relationship history assessment.
We prioritize accessibility to affordable mental health services and provide a limited number of reduced fee spots. Inquire about potential reduced fee options by emailing info@calminchaostherapy.com. If these spots are currently filled, clients have the option to be added to the reduced fee waitlist for future availability. Your well-being is important, and I aim to support you in accessing the care you need.

Cancellation Policy
Calm in Chaos Therapy, PLLC has a 24-hour cancellation policy. For non-emergency cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or not showing for a scheduled appointment, clients will be charged the full session rate. If you are late to a session, your time may be shortened as a result, but you will still be charged for a full session. If a client is more than 10 minutes late, the session will be considered cancelled without prior communication. The first late cancellation or no-show is exempt from charges, but subsequent occurrences will result in clients being charged the full session fee based on the scheduled session type in the system.
Your adherence to this policy is appreciated as I aim to maintain the quality and availability of my services. I also understand things come up, and I’m here to work with you. If you have questions about this policy, please email info@calminchaostherapy.com.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the Federal ‘No Surprises Act’, healthcare providers are required to provide an estimate of expected charges, including psychotherapy, for patients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance (i.e., self-play). The estimate outlining the total expected cost of therapy is called a “Good Faith Estimate,” which can be requested before scheduling services, or at any time in the process.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith. Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.
